PMVS R5 hard drive image

My Partner Mail VS R5 hard drive has died. I pulled it from the system and hooked it up to my PC via a 2.5" -> 3.5" ide adapter. Aside from buying a drive from NYTEL, are there any other options out there to repair this? Does anyone have an image of a bare R5 they can share? Rather not spend $150 to replace a drive when I have a 3gb laptop drive sitting on my desk, and only need the image for it.
