Hello, I found this board and I hope to connect with many other project managers around the world.

My question is about the application process through PMI.

I have over three years experience, the necessary PDU's, and a degree, so I am ready to apply.

My issue is that I have managed over 100 small projects in 3 years. I manage about 10 projects simultaneously. There is a lot of overlap and I have begun to document all the projects I worked on and make sure everything lines up properly.

Where this is becoming tedious is in the "Deliverable Description" category where you have to describe each project in 500 words.

Since I have 100 projects to describe, this is a massive undertaking for me. In addition, many of the projects are of similar nature and I feel as though I am just repeating myself over and over.

I don't want to make it seem as though I didn't put any thought into describing the project, but to do it 100 times over is very tough.

Does anyone have any advice for the application process in my case? Should I just grin and bear it and write out all 100 individual descriptions? Would PMI accept copy and paste in this situation? I don't want to submit something only to have it rejected.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

You could consider sending your explanation above to the PMI itself. Good Luck.
