PMCIA slots in a 3640 Router

There are 2 a PMCIA slots in my 3640 cisco router, what are them for?, are them only for Cisco Memory Card`s or can I install any card, how I configure a PMCIA card on it, cause I have a iPaq palm with wireless connection and a wireless PMCIA card

They are for flash memory, I have never seen any info to suggets you can use them for anything else.
