Mercury 32 mounted on win2k server with smtp relay and dist pop3
Clients running Pegasus 4.01 / 4.02 on win98 boxes.

Having had problems with Pegasus settings being changed, (some pmail boxes are shared depending who is on shift at the time) used disable extension to remove "file" and "options" menu items along with several others. Figured if settings were not avail, users could not change them. Am still getting occasional occurences of entire pmail.ini file
resetting to default ( ie: 00000000 in all numeric fields) values.

Mail Directory mounted on same server as Mercury. Pegasus has access, but regular users surfing the netwrok via explorer or com are read only. Ergo, if they cant change it via the pegasus menu items, and they can not access pmail.ini to overwrite, I can only assume it is a glitch in pmail somewhere (or mercury?)

Comments, discussion, conjecture appreciated.

Regards,
David
