I want to get a list of fonts used in my PM 6.5 document, so that when I transport my document to another computer I know which font files I need to transport with it.

Under PM 6.0 this was easy, you just used the "Create Report" utility and PM created a nice simple text file listing links, fonts, etc.

I know that under 6.5 the "Save For Service Provider" utility is supposed to serve this purpose, plus several other functions.

But I can't get SFSP to work: when I try to run it, it gives me back an error message that says "Document printing options not set for Postscript printer." But, in fact, my chosen printer is a PS printer (HP Laserjet Color PS). The utility stops and damages my document while closing it, so that next time I open the document I have to re-save it under another name, because the file was "closed incorrectly."

All in all, I find SFSP provider a major pain in the ass.

Does anyone know a way I can simply get a list of fonts used in my publication/

Does anyone have an idea why I can't get SFSP to even run?

I am running Win 2000 Pro on a PC with 128 Mgs RAM.

Thanks!

Ok, the problem is certainly within PM, but I think there is a turn around of the problem.
First of all there are the fontmanaging systems like Extensis Suitcase or ATmDeluxe and so on.
These font managing systems let you have a particular use of the fonts you have in your system and use them in a specific way. If you are using one set of fonts for a particular edition, you can check in your suitcase which fonts are active. You only have to copy these fonts to your disk to be on the save.
If you don't wan't to buy one of these font managing systems
there is another way to do it.
Copy your font directory (which islisted in the configuration screen to another name. Then select in your document the fonts that you wa't to use. In the copy of the font directory you delete all other fonts. You rename the original font directory to another name. The font directory with your own listings of the fonts who are used in your document your renmame as font-directory.
restart your computer and the fonts used for this specific document are the only ones who are available.
So the listing and copying for the service bureau is easy.
