Im´m working on an assignment using InDesign. I just emailed the file to the editor who uses a PC version of InDD. I just got back the file with some adjustments. But, despite we use the same version (CS) I get an error message:

"Cannot open file. Please upgrade your plugins to their latest version".

We have the same version in Mac & PC and she had no problem oppening my file containing a 20 pages magazine.

I can´t find a way to open it. Can anyone give me a hint here?

Make sure your file has a .indd at the end of the filename.

Let me know if that fixed the problem

If using CS, you should be patched to 3.0.1, yes?
