Does anybody use Crackerjack or Pitstop or both?
- What do you like/dislike about them?
- What features do you find that you use the most?
- If you have both, what are the advantages of one over the other?

My shop is trying to decide if we should invest in one or either of these. We do mostly spot color work, so spot color management is key. We need to be able to change CMYK/RGB to spot or black if necessary for separations. We also get a lot of files that were created in Word (ugh) and need to convert to 2-color. Would you recommend one plug-in over the other for this type of work?

Also, can either of these also do imposition, or do we need Quite for that? Quite seems like overkill for us because we generally don't do books; 11x17 newsletters or 5.5x8.5 booklets.

Thanks for any input!

I use both Pitstop and Crackerjack.
I use Pitstop the most, in the setup of custom books.
And dealing with PDFs comming from clients who use Word. I change page sizes, add trim marks, change colours, add watermarks, etc etc.

I would get both, you will use them
