Roadrunner business class. Speedtest.net 12.7 MBDL, 1.9MB UL. Plug in phone, drops to 7.1MB DL, 1.3MB UL, packet loss before phone plugged in 0%, after plugging in 7% to 41%. Unplug phone and numbers return to normal.
Using a linksys WRT54G V6 router, and the mac address of the phone was set in the QOS to Highest Priority.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick, you could try turning on the mirroring port on the mitel set (hold down up/down arrows, release the down and type cfg (234) and release the keys. Then browse to tools and features, port options, mirroring on.

Then plug your pc into the pc port and run wireshark to trace what the phone is doing.

Is the display on the phone doing anything and is this just with the phone sitting idle that you see your packet loss?

Thanks

Kenny
