I have a 20G HDD and I partitioned it into 4 drives ( this is my second HDD, first is the bootable with winME installed ), when using FDisk, i accidentally set the disk the active status, and after i reboot my system, my partition ( all the drives ) disappeared!! and it said that the disk is unformatted and is a RAW disk? wat should i do??

First and foremost don't touch it!!!
If this letter has not arrived too late, then scoot out to get yourself Powerquest Partition Magic 6 .... it has a recover lost partition option that recovered 2 lost partitions on a disk of mine after the 98 install (oem) decided to wipe the partition table (bye bye!!) NOT!! PQMagic6 recovered them both in a couple of minutes.

The other tool I've used with some success is Ontracks Easy Recovery .... it found the first partition's contents (8 gigs out of 30) with no trouble, but the 2nd partitions contents are not usable .... but it's better than losing everything. One of these should work for you.
Good Luck!
PJ
