Hi,
Help me out. What value are you getting from the use of your mouse? How are you assembling your array or plot points? When you point (and click, I assume) what is happening or should happen? Skip,

I am clicking the chart and calculating the pixel values into points depending upon the axis scale. Now to get the accurate value i have found an aspect ratio by which the values are commin somewhat accurate but they are still problems.I am searching for some robust method of converting pixel into points so that the values can be accurate.

An alternate method you might try is to plot an initial point on the chart, maybe give it a cross-hairs style, and take advantage of Excel Chart's abilities to follow your movement's of that point.

If you select the point you can move it and the associated cells on your worksheet will be updated. You can then use the worksheet_change event to plot a new point at the same spot as the point you just moved. Not exactly the solution you're looking for, but should work and give you accurate values.
