When I try to plt my drawing it seems fine until it comes out the plotter. My titleblock is in paper space and it prints in blk and white like it should however everything that is in model space plots in color. It is not the Ctb file cause i have plotted other dwgs in that same dwg file. I have erased the viewport and created a new one and it still prints model space in color.

anyone have any ideas on this issue?

Thanks, G.

To plot in monochrome (black) on a color printer (plotter) use the following in AutoCAD 2004/5:

In Model Space =>
File > Page Setup Manager... > Modify... > Plot style table (pen assignments) > monochrome.ctb.

In Paper Space =>
Right click on a Layout Tab > Page Setup Manager... > Modify... > Plot style table (pen assignments) > monochrome.ctb. [If you don't see the Plot sytle table (pen assignments) window, in the lower right corner there's a round button with a right pointing arrow, click on the round button and it will expand so you can see the Plot style table (pen assignments).
