Plotting a part 3D shaded Drawing 1

I never get to use 3D so please forgive my ignorance!

I have a mainly 2D drawing (a floor Plan) with 2.5D shaded detail.

When I try to plot the Vport I only get a wireframe of the detail.

How can I solve this?

Which version of ACAD are you using? In 2002 and older versions, you cannot plot a shaded or rendered viewport. You have to use "saveimg" while in model space, then save your image. Next insert the raster image onto your layout.

I am using Acad 2000 so that will be the problem.
