Thanks in advance for any help.

This might not be the right forum for this but...

I know from researching that this plotter does not support HP's own HPGL/2 language and only PCL3 which is an outright shame.

Does anybody know if I can make a plot file using the PCL3 driver that comes with the 100, plot to file and then redirect it to the plotter?

Can anybody help with this? HP didn't answer my email.

TC,

You should be able to do this, all you have to do is set up your plotter (the HP DesignJet 100) within AutoCAD just like you would for any other plotter, then when you plot, tell AutoCAD to plot to a file. You can then direct your output to either a batch file, print/plot spooler or send them manually.

Hope this helps

Todd
