I'm using Office XP, and everthing was fine when I made charts. Then for no "apparent" reason, one day when I went to make a new chart (nothing fancy, just the default chart using the chart wizard) and the plot area was so small I couldn't even find a handle to drag it and make it bigger! Now that happens every time I make a chart - which is often. It's maddening! I did not make any changes to any defaults, nor can I find where any "changed on their own". Has anyone had this happen before? (The actual overall chart size is fine... just the plot area is very, very small.)

Thanks,

Danhauer

Hi Dan,

I see no one has yet "jumped on this one". :)

So let me try to get things rolling. ;-)

How about creating a chart with fictitious data and emailing it to me ? I'll then attempt to change it and email it back. Then you can test it on your PC.

And in the process we'll hopefully be able to determine what the cause is.

I hope this helps.
