Please wait message after upgrade

Hi all

We recently purchased a IP400 digital 16 port expansion v2 to add to our system, but it was on version 7 and our current ones are on version 5.2, so I decided to upgrade them to 10.1(63), but now the phones display please wait, is there any way to bring them back to version 5.2?

I don't see any logic in your upgrade path. What is the version of your IPO?

The main module is a 406, I want to keep them to the older versions if I can downgrade the expansion

But why did you upgrade the modules to 10.1? That version belongs to software release 8.1 and isn't even available for the 406.

Just download the manager of e version your 406 is running, and re upgrade. It will fix itself

A clasic ecample of why it is better to purchse equipment from your maintainer & have then fit it.

How much has attempt to save money cost you in lost time?

V5.2 for an expansion module is V3.2 IPO firmware

install the corect version of manager & upgrade/downgrade everything to the same releasse & you should be fine
The highest version of firmware the 406V2 will support without a licence is V5.0 but early units did not have suficient ram for V4.0 & above (it will not proceed with the upgrade if this is the case)

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

if he's got the 406 on 3.2 and the modules on 10.1, the modules won't show in manager will they? Won't he need another chassis on 8.1 to see the modules, then be able to downgrade them?
