Please, Please Help, -- small project

I have been looking round for some start off code, and it looks like no-one knows about it or done any thing like it. Found a sample on MSDN but to complicated to under stand.
yes i am talking about MTTTY sample for serial comunication. All I am after is code/help that will transfere a file across from one PC to another using a Null Modem cable ( serial to serial Comunications.), I am new at VC++(5.0) and am sure there is someone out there who knows what they are doing....
Pls*10000......... help to start me off.

Have a read of the CSocket or CAsyncSocket Classes documentation these will do what you want.

Look through MSDN if you have it. If not goto

http://msdn.microsoft.com

and search for CSocket.

As for samples I don't know, but if you need assistance just post another message in the forum.

Thanks again, I had a look at CSocket on the MSDN, but the thing is that it requires IP address / somthing to do with UDP, but what i am trying to do is simply send Text file from one PC ( transmitter) to recond PC(recever), using Serial Port ( not networked) just like the MTTY software created by MSDN, but simple.
