Hi,
I have a HACMP cluster 5.2 with AIX 5.2 and two nodes.
I need to allow access to the application from a new network (i can't change the default gateway, juste want to add a new route) but i don't know how to do :(

My cluster production address is 10.12.0.2

The network I want to access is 192.10.180.0

The gateway to access this network is : 10.12.23.1

Can you help me please (i'm new at hacmp).

Thank you very very much

hi
thanks for your answer. Do I need to do it on the two nodes of the cluster?
Is it going to erase my default gateway?
thanks again

Although adding the route to the application startup script will work but it is recommended by IBM to use the events to do that and leave the application startup script for the application specific commands

No it will not delete the default gateway! it will just add an entry in the routing table.

netstat -r (to show routing table)

Regards,
Khalid
