I am trying to configure my W2K Pro workstation as a RAS server. I've config all settings including added the correct users with passwords. The problem is that was someone remotely login the server they are unable to get to the internet and also browse locally on the network. This once worked on a NT Server configured for RAS. Are there any setting that I need to change to be able to access the internet and the local network. Thx in advance.

If you use a proxy server on your internal network and the user is not configured at home to use said proxy server in their internet browser, (assuming they are getting an IP when RAS'd in) They wouldn't have one from their house.

They would be surfing the web from your local network. Add the proxy and the problem with go away.

This is 1 of 100 reasons, can you be more specific to your infrastructure?
