i am a real and first to redhat. after install redhat9.o from bitterent, iso files, i try to install but the third disk seems to be corrupted. please help for the young one of linux. thanks for appriciate.

Download the ISO from another source and burn a new CD from it.

The first RH CD has a CD checking program that comes up with you boot from the CD. I strongly recommend that you use that tool to check all your CDs before you try to perform the install again.

I'm also a fan of just getting an initial install CD ("CD 1" or whatever), then after a minimal install set the package manager's source to look at a remote mirror of the distro (works well with Debian's 'apt' and Mandrake's 'urpmi'). That way you can get just what you need when you need it. Most of the good stuff is on the first CD anyway...

Then again, I also have a local mirror of Mandrake (5.1GB!), so call me a hypocrite ;-)
