Hello lotus gurus I hope you can help me. My Boss is having problems with his email. The problem started when he tried to send a message and got this error: "Cannot Save Image to Disk."

I looked up the information in these threads:
and ended up changing /File/Mobile/Edit locaton /Mail tab /Format messages to internet locations to lotus notes rich text and got the same results.

I changed it back to MIME and now I get a different error when I tries to open a message or create a message in his inbox.
The message is: "File can not be created."

I am fairly new to lotus notes but I am sure a setting someplace has been changed. I have gone through the suggestions in this thread: but still get the same results.

The PC is running WinXP Pro SP2. Our lotus notes mail files are kept on the server. I'm afraid to replicate or move anything without guidance as I don't want to lose his mail or damage it further.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Maureen

Update:

Looks like the mail is working now.

I ran
load compact -B -s 10 d:\lotus\domino\data\mail\mailfile.nsf
load fixup d:\lotus\domino\data\mail\mailfile.nsf -F
load updall d:\lotus\domino\data\mail\mailfile.nsf -R -X

and cleared some space on his hard drive, although he had 10 gigs free.
so far he is sending and receiving mail without any errors now.

Thanks,

Maureen
