We currently have Release 5 for our Nortel BCM 50. In another location we are running an IP Softphone 2050 v2 with an Algo 4900 USB ATA adapter connected to the computer. The analog phone on the Algo receives and dials calls fine. The problem we are having is that there is no "Caller ID" information getting passed to the digital phone that is connected to the Algo unit. The only information we see displayed on the digital phone is "External Call", yet the information that is displayed on the 2050 window shows the correct Caller ID or Extension. We have downloaded the latest firmware from Algo, and even sent our Algo unit back to Algo Solutions for testing and they say it works correctly. We have updated the BCM 50 to the latest version. I have gone through most of the settings on our BCM with Algo technical support and everything seems to be set correctly as they also have a BCM 50 (not sure what release). I currently have the IP Softphone 2050 v4.1 installed to see if that would make a difference and the results are the same: "External Call" is the only thing that appears in the digital phone display. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, I've moved the posting over there.
