please help with excel combo

Hello,

We have a full version of office 97 installed on computers in our IT room but have a major problem. When we insert a combo box in Excel we right click the box and choose the format control function. Now on several machine we are missing a tab, we get the following tabs:-

size protection properties

but we can't get the control tab which is on some machines. How do we go about adding this additional tab?

2 different toolbars - 2 different combo boxes
The one with "controls" tab is from FORMS toolbar
The one without is from "CONTROLS" toolbar - go to properties instead of format control to see control source properties
These 2 combo boxes can behave very differently so be careful which one you pick Rgds
