Hi,

I have a lab setup with an MD110 connected to a simulated PSTN network via a DSS1 link. The PSTN is currently configured for D.I.D only (to MD110) for testing purposes. We have initaited a signalling connection between the equipment, the only issue that I have is creating an extension. I have searched and ran through a number of commands but I get an "unassigned number" response from the MD110 to the simulated network. Below is a TLU trace of the call. Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

your number conversion table must be correct.
I suppose your extension nr is 1000:

nutri:entry=7035,cnvtyp=0,numtyp=2,trc=6; /*digits 703555 will be truncated, leaving you number 1000 */

Any input as to how i can configure this extension to dial into the simulated PSTN? I have modified the DSS1 link for bi-directional opertation but I dont know what steps to take to dial out of the PBX. Thanks.

you need to create an external destination :

NANSI:NUMSE=0,NUMTYP=ED;

RODDI:DEST=0,srt=2,rou=x;
