I have created a form that I would like users to fill out when requesting a report from the technical group. I created a submit button with some JavaScript that uses the mailDoc function. This function works fine when I am in Acrobat Exchange, but does not work on client machines with Acrobat Reader. Could someone please explain why. Also, does anyone have any solution or work-arounds. Thanks.

The mailDoc (and mailForm) function is not supported in Reader - this is because Adobe want you to buy either Acrobat Full or Approval, which do support these functions. Ahhhhh, I see you have a machine that goes Bing!

A machine that goes Bing.....maybe you could di-cipher that into english for me Murgle. Thanks for the response.

Murgle and carmo, the post with my name on it isn't from me. Please contact Tek-Tips and let them know that this has happened.
Thanks

Happily, I am the real Murgle.

Oh, and the machine that goes BING! is from a Monty Python sketch - it also happens to be the response of most technical helpdesks when you have a problem....... Ahhhhh, I see you have a machine that goes Bing!
