Good afternoon, colleagues.
I ask for advice.
On my hipath 4000 v8, the stmi2 board with hfa subscribers failed.
Today they will bring a replacement stmi4.
I will change it, but I would like it with minimal effort.
I'm trying to change the part number of the board in advance, is this the only thing I need in my understanding?

I deactivated the module:
DEACTIVATE-BSSU:LTG=1,LTU=1,SLOT=8;

REGENERATE-BCSU:LTG=1,LTU=1,SLOT=8;
H500: AMO BCSU STARTED
ADD-BCSU:IPGW,1,1,8,"Q2316-X",1,0,2,,
60,,,,,0,IPV4,NO,NO;

Then I try to replace the part number:
CHANGE-BCSU:TYPE=PARTNO,LTG=1,LTU=1,SLOT=8,PARTNO1="Q2316-X",
PARTNO2="Q2324-X500",FCTID1=1;
H500: AMO BCSU STARTED
F03: MODULE CODE NUMBER OR FUNCTION ID INVALID !
FOR BOARDS WITH MORE FUNCTIONS THE AMO HAS TO INVESTIGATE THE BOARD DATA
BY THE COMBINATION OF PARTNO AND FCTID. IF THE FCTID IS NOT SPECIFIED THE
DEFAULT VALUE 0 FOR THIS PARAMETER MIGHT NOT LEAD TO VALID BOARD DATA.
FOR CGW THE NEW BOARD MUST ALSO FIT TO THE CONFIGURED FUNCTION BLOCK.
PLEASE CHECK ALSO IF THE PROPER CONFIG. BRANCH (PER/DIU/IPGW/...) IS USED !

FCTID2 =

and I get an error.
Maybe it's because I have to insert the module first, then try to change the part number? But these are just guesses.

If this does not help, then do I really have to delete all 200 subscribers from the old module and re-create them on the new one?
Oh no not this

It's complaining you haven't given it fctid2. Enter 1; which is the same as fctid1. It's more of a prompt than an error.

I didn’t guess something before, because the reg command gave out only one fctid value, I thought fctid2 should be left empty or zero, which I tried.

Everything worked out, I realized my mistake, thank you very much, have a nice day
