Dear all,
I have a central office (static IP) with a PIX515E behind a NAT Router, as well as a remote office (dynamic IP) with a PIX501 behind a NAT router as well, i.e.
PIX515E==>NAT====>Internet<==NAT==<PIX501
PIX515E:
Outside = 192.168.18.0/24
Inside = 192.168.19.0/24
Default gateway = 192.168.18.1
Public IP (on the NAT Router): 1.1.1.1
PIX501:
Outside = 192.168.4.0/24
Inside = 192.168.5.0/24
Default gateway = 192.168.4.253
Public IP (on the NAT Router): Dynamic
I wish to set up an IPSec VPN between the 2 sites, may I ask if this is possible? If yes, can you briefly provide the neccessay commands? I am not very familiar with Cisco PIX but was asked to complete this task. I tried to use the commands taught by Cisco in their configuration guide but I got no luck, the tunnel don't go up and I got no message by enabling "debug crypto ipsec" and "debug crypto isakmp".
Many thanks!
