Hi im stcuk on the following questions to do with NT4:-
1)What diagnostic tools would you use if a user kept getting logged out?
2) If a users inbox was full, how would you implement a solution that enabled then to have a larger inbox while keeping the users mail in the mailbox?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Ian

Also what is the difference between remote and roaming profiles? Is there a remote profile i thought that would be a policy.
Thanks again
Ian

I gave out those questions, but I can't answer them myself.. hahaha..

Questions in the interview are hypocritical and vague.

Just to answer shed some light into your interview questions:

1) I would look at the user profile under User Manager for NT4 for time of day login allowance. (Question is so vague..) I would check on line connection stability from the event viewer

2) Give the user a larger quota. Assuming in Exchange server I would simply take off the increase mailbox size limit. (Again, question is so vague.)

As for klakka:

Remote profile is a profile stored on a remote computer, like a labtop, so that the user can log in the same way as if he/she is on the network. Once this computer is online within your LAN, it will synch up with the server profile for any updates.

Roaming profile is a user profile stored on the server, so that whereever the user goes, it goes with them. For example, user likes to sit in Accounting office on Monday, but likes to remain in Sales office the rest of the week.

Hope that make sense.
