Here's my problem. I'm trying to install "Powerquest's Drive Image" on a customers system not using NTFS but Fat32. Everything goes fine until the install message "Configuring Windows Installer" shows up. Then there is a slight pause and I get the error message "1068 Unable to create InstallDrive Instance". Have tried everything, went to Ms data base for help, bleh!. Tried searching Google for help, bleh!. Anybody have any idea's or suggestions. Thanks.

Make sure you have the lastest version of the Windows Installer......go to microcrap.com...oh sorry....microsoft.com and go to the download section.

also, if this is windows 2000 oeprating system, are you logging in as admin or do you have local admin rights?
try task manager and end task on unnecessary programs.
