please help... OSX 10 password problem

hi i have recently bought a full editing suite comprising of 3 quicksilver g4's now the guy who sold it to me has set the system and network up really well so i want to keep all this plus i bought it for the software installed....(it didnt include install discs) now i have just started getting to now the system but am missing one of the main passwords for the admin which the person who sold it to me will now not give me as he says he has files on there he doesnt want me to have access to meaning i will have to re-install the whole system which kind of cancels out one of the main reasons i bought the computer which was becuase it was well setup and contained good software!!!! Grrrrrr!! IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET ROUND THIS!! hacking or something..

please help

It seems kind of odd that you would not own your admin password for a computer that you bought. This appears to be more of a legal issue where you should seek a refund/return. An attorney may help.

Otherwise, the way to reset the password is in this forum's FAQ. You could always purchase a new OSX install CD to reset the password.
