Hi!
I have a problem!
I am using Access front-end and SQL back-end.
It's a program for market and when I want to insert new stuff sometimes the insert is working well, but sometimes and usually always on the same merchandise the program blocks and after a while gives error message
“Run-time error “3155”
“ODBC - insert in a linked table 'ccc' failed”
“[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server driver]Timeout expired”
I don’t understand what is wrong. When I installed the program it was working well until now.

Is the connection to the server getting broken by any means? You can check the log of the server to see if the database itself is getting restarted or something like that?
If so the error also will be reported in the log

Best of luck

Is the table you are inserting into a table that is bound to a Form, or are you doing the insert through vba code. If the latter, you could change to an ADO connection and get better error trapping/messages.
