Please help, need to send email using Apache on NT4

I have setup Apache on NT4 and the web pages are now accesible from the net. I've written the Perl stuff to handle form processing from the web site but I need to be able to email users who have submitted the form to send them their serial number and password details.
Can anyone tell me the best way to do this please.
