Please help NAV killing Exchange server

I have Norton AVF for exchange and Norton Antivirus corp ed installed on my exchange server. The NAV is using up 100% of the CPU and everything is moving at a snail's pace. Just highlighting an icon takes a minute. I tried ending realtime scan through task manager but that's no use. I am runing Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

Please help
 
Have you applied the required exclusions. There are several directories and drives that you don't won't NAVCE scanning in realtime. Especially the M:.
