Is there a way that I can load Windows 98 second edition on a freshly formated partition from floppy disks? My friends computer is kinda old and doesnt have a CD-ROM drive. How can I do this? Thank You!

It could take several hundred floppies and a lot of time.

Do the math. It would be cheaper and far less time-consuming to install a CD-ROM.

If it is a old machine, you probably don't want to put Win98 SE on it. It would slow it down to much.

That Said

If your friend doesn't want to purchase an CD Rom drive ( $40-50 50X), pull the HD out of their machine, Place it in your machine and copy the Win98 SE Cab files over to the Hard Drive. Then put the HD back in their machine and run setup.
