My computer already crashed two weeks ago and I think I am hit with another virus... Basically all my execute files (including all of Windows Office) don't work any more and a whole bunch of other stuff like commands in control pannel for example.

I have already performed an on-line scan for viruses with mcafee and it didn't find anything... I also tried downloading the Sircam32 virus tool it also did not work.

I don't know that much about viruses but is there anyway I can find it without re-formating my whole pc.

Please get back to me as soon as you can.

Thank you so much.

HI!

One way is to take out your hard drive, place it as secondary on a clean computer with an updated anti virus and run a complete virus scan.
If it's dificult for you, go to a good lab.

Your problem might also be after you had a virus in the past (short or long past doesn't matter), and after removing the virus the executables were damaged.
This is normal since the virus infects the files, and the anti virus removes the virus but doesn't restore the file to its origin.
The solution in this case is simply to reinstall the operating system and all applications over the existing files, replacing all files. (and then updating service packs if aplicable).

The bottom line - Ask an expert to help you, and you'll get the best results.

Bye
