Please Help me with SSTab color

Could anyone help me with Microsoft (or Sheridan Software's ???) SSTab tab-control object's back-color (or should I say "Body-Color?").
If I change the backcolor it changes a tiny bit of the very back of the control. How do I need to do to change the color of the entire tab object?

Also, could anyone tell me how to pass password information to the MS Access 8.0 (Access.Application) Object through VB code?
