Please help me to use macromedia director mx lingo on a script

Basically I am trying to increase the height of a script vertically. Unfotunately although the script works for the increase in height, the increase works downwards only instead of working upwards only. I want the base of the vertical sprite object to stay the same whilst the upper part increase to my specified height. Please assist me for it is giving me too much to worry about - having spent days trying to resolve this piece of lingo.

May be the registration point of your sprite member is on top like point(0, 0)? If so, set the registration point at the bottom of the member.
