Please help me to uninstall Norton Anti Virus 2007.

Hi,

I use Vista Ultimate, and Norton Anti Virus 2007 (NAV2007)

When I opened NAV2007, I got a message saying a file could not be found. I did not realise the gravity of the message and did not record it. Further on, a message said that there was massive fault and I needed to uninstall and reinstall the program.

First I uninstalled the Norton updating programs. Then I used Norton Removal Tool, but it refused to run. I think it said something about a Runtime error.

Then I tried the Add/Remove in Control Panel. This produced the message "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way---", and to seek help.

I am at my wits end, and would be grateful for advice on how to uninstall NAV2007. Because untill that is done, i can neither reinstall it or install another anti virus program.

have you tried downloading the norton removal tool. this is a great tool ive used many times for removing NAV from workstations.
