HI to anyone who is reading an can help.

I am in a pretty bad predicament and I need some answers pretty fast. This could cost me my job. . . It is a long story.

1. The first problem I have is in query

I have created a query and it will only show the last line for and not previous data the problem is in my sum column.

What I have done in the table is created

Amount
Interest
Months
SubTotal

My formula is in the Subtotal column.

SubTotal:([Amount]*[Interest])/[Months]

I have tried so many different ways I need the total in the Subtotal and I don't know what I done. It Adds but it won't show any previous data in the query.

2. In the forms I have

Client Number - Primary

Client Name

Then text boxes + check lists

What I would like to do is

i/ Add new data - I can do that I did a acNew

ii/ show the "Clients Name" when the Client Number has been entered.

iii/ Show all the data which has been entered "text boxes + check lists" if the "Client Number" was previously recorded with the specified data.

This is a huge checking process there will alot of forms returned to staff for amendments and I need to make sure all data is correct for legal purposes.

Please help me I have a horrific dead line and this has to be working by Tuesday.

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Thanks again

Julie,

Take your table, your query and your form and put it into a separate database. Zip it if you can. Email it to me. Explain in your email what it's doing and what you want it to do. If you have any visual examples reports, etc add them. I will be happy to take a look. ljprodev@yahoo.com
