please help me count the number of days

I have several orders a day. I want to be able run a query on a certain time frame to see how many orders I had and (what I don't know how to do) count the number of days on which I had orders. Can you help?

Create a Totals query. Create a select query adding your date field to the QBE grid twice. Then press the Sum button on the toolbar. Leave the first instance of the date as Group By and change the second one to Count. Run the query and you should get a grouping of each date and the count of the number of records for that day. If the date field also includes time then you'll need to format it in the field property. Use the following syntax to do this:
