We've had to perform disaster recovery on our mail server after a hardware failure. The mail server's been rebuild (exchange 2003) and the information store has been restored, but won't start and the following error's in the application log:
The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance.
The MAPI provider failed.

I'm lost and don't know what to do any more...
