Please help--- Lost my export options

I somehow lost my options to export on AE6. It now only lets me export as UM2, SWF and ogg. I already tried to uninstall and re-install, but I still don't have those options. I need to export as .avi. It used to have them before.
Can anyone help me or give some ideas? I would truly appreciate it.

Hmmm....

You should be able to export to AVI using Make Movie:

Under Composition -> Make Movie, then you'll have to change the output preferences to make an AVI, but it should deliver the same.

(don't forget to add OUTPUT AUDIO, if your animation requires it)

Thanks, it rendered my project into an avi. I guess from now on i'll have to render that way rather than through export, but as long as it renders. Thanks again.
