Please help: I have a report gro

Please help:

I have a report grouping as Open and Close status.

Open status
...
...

Close staus
...
...

I would like to get the Open, or Close, or all data in one report by user's need instead of having 3 seperate reports to get Open, Close or all the data. So I set up a parameter to allow users to choose the status they want for the report: open, close or both status. but the report always give all status data no matter choosing open or close. Could i realize this function in one report?

You need to use the parameters in your selection criteria. Are you currently doing this? If so, paste your record selection.

i did use the parameters in my selection criteria. but still thank you very much for your reminding because i checked the selection again and found out a mistake in the selection formular.
