Please help. I am using the package and deployment wizard to create a single cab to be used to install an app from a network share. I am getting a missing dependency error that says dependency info could not be found for file msado21.tlb. Then on the client computer I get an error during setup that says "an error occured while registering the file msado21.tlb I click on ignore and then when I try to access the executable it says "ado could not find the specified provider" aspvbwannab

msado21.tlb is in the MDAC_TYP.EXE file. It was in the 2.1 version of MDAC. If you include MDAC_TYP.EXE in your package and deployment wizard, the wizard will do a semi-silent install of the updated ODBC drivers and support files when you install your appliaction.

Be forewarned that MDAC_TYP.EXE is about 6 to 7 meg. This will increase the size of your installation program considerably. Snaggs
