Hi,

I am running win XP home edition, My HD is 40 GB, with two partitions, one is 32 GB with NTFS and 8 GB FAT 32,i want to make my system dual boot with win 98, is it possible? if yes then how do i go about it?

can I install win 98 in my 8gb partition with fat 32?
will it give me a dual boot option?

please advise . i need your help guys?

When you setup to dual boot with Windows 98 it will have to be loaded before XP to avoid overwriting the Boot files that make it a dual boot system.

I noticed you have home edition some home editions(HP_pavilions) have xp installed on a hidden partition and does not come with the cd's to reinstall make sure you have them before formatting and using the fdisk option. if you do the article mentioned will work for you.
