Ok I've been at this for awhile and I just cant do it, I need help. Im trying to make a generic file dialog program that simply brings up the file dialog box and allows the user to pick a file then exit. The DIALOGS.TPU that comes with the BP7 I have here shows a generic file dialog box but it doesnt show the drives and directoies so I can navigate where I want to go. Its "too" simple. I had sound a GREAT solution with TV Tool Box (v2 works with turbo vision) but for some reason when I compile it, it brings up the simplistic file dialog box from BP7 and not the one from the demo. I would love to just use this demo but I dont know how to get the file dialog box from it, its exactly what im wanting as it shows drives and directories and I can navigate all over the place.

In short I need someone to help me make (or make one for me or help me get this TV tool box demo working) a file dialog box program. Can someone help or even point me to a place that has just this program?

Thanks,
Tyler H. D.

I never used Turbo Vision, not the TV toolbox, but I guess that you shouldn't use the objects from the toolbox directly. You have to make customized subclasses from the provided classes so you can add extra functionality. By studying the TV demo programs, you can check out what you have to add and how.

Don't worry what people think about you. They're too busy wondering what you think about them.
