Please Help..Desperate. Problems using greater than symbol

Hi,

I am using Crystal 9i and trying to programme record selection using csp. I'm trying to add in a greater than symbol i.e.
(>) but it keeps interpreting it as &lt (something like that which is the HTML code for the symbol.) However, Crystal does not like this. When I go into Enterprise Console and manually manipulate formula adding a symbol (>) it works....but I need to do this dynamically.

Please post a snippet (3-4 lines) of csp code that includes the > you are having trouble with.
