Hi,
Just recently at my job we spun up a windows 2012 standard machine.
We are trying to install a ca tool for single sign on and for some strange reason when you double click the exe, nothing shows on the screen
Event viewer just captures a event id 1000
In 2008 the exe runs. So we figured maybe it was not compatible. But today we attempted to install another Packaged plug in and same results same error in the event bower.
We tried to install as admin, in compatibility mode and nothing happens
The CA tool is packaged with install anywhere
The 3rd party tool is packaged with installjammer
No idea why these won't install
We installed notepad+, oracle client with no issues but these in particular don't give any messages
Could is be a security thing in 2012?
Issue with windows installer?
