Please help ASAP!!! 2000 / 97 problem

I need to open a Project 2000 file in Project 97, is it possible? Are there any plug-ins anybody knows about or a way to convert. I could not find anything from Microsoft.

Sorry, Project 98 anot 97

Have the person with P2000 click on File | Save As ... and choose the P98 format.

You can both update/share that version of the file. Anything that is specific to P2000 that is not in P98 will be lost whenever the P2000 user does the "Save As ...".

The person who sent the P2000 document is unavailable to convert. I was hoping to go from the other direction; convert the file from P98 to view 2000.

What do you mean "is unable to convert?"

P2000
1. Open the file.
2. Click on File | Save As ... and in the 'Save as type' choose 'Microsoft Project 98'.
