ok so i have a 3 terminal system. one of my terminals crashed so i removed it and was running only 2 terminals for some time. I have an extra terminal at my other location so i put it in place of the teminal that crashed. Everything conects fine with the networking i can accsess the terminal from boh through the network, the error i get when it initializes is a numterm error."numterms indicates 4 terminals, but only 3 are defined" how do i fix this so it recognizes only 3 terminals.i would appreciate help please

Locate the iber.cfg file in the Aloha subdirectory....Change the number of terms there to 3 and make sure that the term number is correct (ie 1 or 2 or 3)

SET TERM=3
SET NUMTERMS=3

i find the ibercfg.bat file but when i go to open it i get an error saying that the file cannot be located.in C:/aloha/bin/iber.exe

Maybe there is more then one ibercfg.bat
It appears you are not editing the correct file
From the command prompt edit ibercfg.bat
or right click on file and choose edit.
Make changes then save and exit.
Goto to start - programs - startup -
right click on shortcut ibercfg.bat and choose properties.
under the shortcut tab. It tells you were the startup
file is located.
Goto to that location to edit ibercfg.bat to correct number terminals ( right click on file and choose edit.)
.file save and exit

And

goto to control panel
system- advandced tab - environment vatiables..
look in system variables for numterms .
if there change to correct number of terms.

goodluck
