Please give me some Cisco commands's tips

Hi there,

Please explain me the following Cisco commands :

- ip directed-broadcast

- and "redistribute static" command
( for example
router eigrp 100
redistribute static
network 10.0.0.0 )

And tell me in what cases we should or shouldn't use them.
